Annoyed with Entertainment
I’m so annoyed with entertainment news right now.
Who cares about Spencer Pratt? Do people really like him? I’ve never even seen the Hills. I can’t believe people actually watch that? I like entertainment gossip, but do people like S.P. and his laughable girlfriend, Heidi Montag, really qualify as celebrities?
I’m so over Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice. Give me a break! She may have the $$$ to dress, but I would hardly call her a fashion icon. Now her fabulously hot husband, Becks, can go nude and he would still be yummylicious. There is talk Posh may be getting another reality show about what else? Fashion. Because we really need another reality show.
Does anyone really care about the made up drama between Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston? Noooo. Why does everyone think they know what’s going on inside their relationships. So dramatized!
Tom Cruise. He is such a joke. I will never look at Top Gun the same. He is so not cute anymore.
Why is Lindsay Lohan wearing black tights every freakin’ day?
Does Paris really think we believe her new relationship with Benji Madden will last?
Whatever. Save Britney……..
I agree, Crystal. I was so annoyed with my latest issue of Us Weekly, because I swear they just made up all that crap about Aniston being devestated by Jolie’s no-show at the Oscar party. Ugh.
Now The Hills is another story. I’m oddly obsessed with that show. But I really hate Spencer/Heidi, so I don’t care what they do. 🙂
Love your blog, girl! 🙂
I think the entertainment media has just gotten lazy….
Okay, I see your point.
But Entertainment is what it is… “Entertainment”
It’s really not supposed to be hard hitting.
When it comes to Heidi & Spencer…. I hear your point… but… somebody is interested because the magazines and online sites wouldn’t cover them so much… if they didn’t generate revenue.
Heidi is on the cover of US Weekly… that means something. The magazines choose very wisely about who is on what cover… and how much money it will generate. The Hills is a huge show… maybe not for our generation… but it is popular and that’s a fact.
Posh– I watched one episode of her reality show that aired a while back– and I loved it. It was so funny!!
So I guess it depends on everyone’s taste… and just like everything… the media’s job is to report on a wide variety of topics.
We all shouldn’t really take Entertainment seriously… it’s a fantasy world to the normal every day person… much of it is based on hearsay… gossip… overheard converstations, etc…. read it or view it if you want to… just remember… it’s not always what it seems.
P.S. I still like Tom Cruise. 🙂
