Back to Bed

I’m sure I’m not the only one who wishes they could pull the covers over their head and go back to sleep. But, seriously, today I just want to go back to bed. I was not ready to wake up this morning. Coffee won’t help. I’m sleepy. I had crazy dreams. I was in a deep sleep, even between snoozes.

Can I go back to bed?

I think I got about 6 to 7 hours of sleep, but I can’t shake the drowsiness. I almost fell asleep driving to work. That could have been a disaster. I even played my dance music loud. It didn’t help.

Can I go back to bed?

By the way, if you wake up groggy and you feel tired more than normal, especially throughout the day, check out the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website. You could have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. One million Americans suffer from CFS, which is difficult to diagnose. So, know the signs.

I don’t think this is my problem. I just want to go back to bed!

    I just saw something on GMA today about preparing yourself to sleep better! The tips included…. dimming your lights about 2 hours before bed time… and not being on the computer (because the light is intense in your eyes) ….. bright lights keep you awake…. dimming them will get you in sleep mode.

    Also- drink milk before bed.

    Also- do not excercise within about 2 hours before bedtime… it will keep you up… because your energy level is high.

    I only saw half of it….. so there’s my two cents… hope it helps! :)
